Tuesday, December 16th Classwork: Lesson Review - How can Floods be Controlled? Students will read textbook pages 94-101. Then complete lesson review page 101 questions 1-5 into journal. Students will complete workbook pages 57-63 if needed on Floods. Students will continue Performance task in class. Students will draw five land forms found in Georgia on an outline of the state. Then find names, locations, and important information about each land form. Finally, the students will write a one page report on each land form. Homework: Research five land forms located in Georgia. Names,locations, and important facts about each land form.
Wednesday, December 17th Classwork: How can Beachers be protected? Students will identify how beachers can be replenished and build back up after hurricanes. Students complete workbook pages 64-68 with answers. Then reread textbook pages 106-111 and complete lesson review questions 1-5 on page 111 into science journal. Students continue to work on performance task finding five land forms in Georgia. Homework: Research and complete five land forms located in Georgia.
